Nous restons basé la semaine à Itaparica, un village sympa et trop tranquille dans l’île du même nom, car, Nathan y a commencé l’école et la Capoeira. On profite, si possible, de naviguer dans la baie de tous les saints le week-end.

Arrivés à Salvador, le Centre Nautique de Bahia ne répondait pas à la VHF (c’est pas faute d’avoir essayé plein de fois) et nous avons pris le parti de mouiller entre celui-ci et Bahia Marina. Bien nous en a pris car les tarifs du CENAB (1 Réal par pied pour un mono) ne sont plus ce que l’on peut en lire dans les guides.

Nous n’étions pas trop confiant quant à la sécurité sur l’eau et sur terre à cet endroit. On a donc déménagé pour un autre quartier, Ribeira, dans la marina Pier Salvador (www.piersalvador.com.br). C’est tout bonus car le personnel est sympa, les locaux sont nikels et les prix plus doux (0,6 Réal par pied pour un mono). Sandoval le patron est aux petits oignons pour ses clients.

Le quartier est populaire et nous nous y sentons bien. L’accès au centre-ville se fait facilement par bus.
